Korg-ov legendarni Wavestation predstavio je svetu sekvenciranje zvučnih talasa, a Wavestate mk2 sa 37 dirki se nadograđuje na to nasleđe sa ponovo osmišljenim, kompaktnim sintisajzerom dizajniranim da zadovolji današnje zahteve muzičara i producenata.

MkII proširuje polifoniju na 96 stereo glasova. Potpuno je kompatibilan sa zvucima i uzorcima za originalni Wavestate. Poboljšana polifonija dodavanjem dodatnih 35 glasova u odnosu na original! Sa 64 na 96 glasova!
